Low Voltage Helper- Dallas, TX

Pay Rate: 19.00/hr

Experience: This candidate is a military veteran with about a year of experience as a low voltage helper. This candidate also has about a year of experience with installing GPS systems in vehicles. He has five years of experience in logistics and four years of experience in the oil industry.

Skills: This candidate has experience in wire pulling for fire alarms as well as data cabling. He has some experience in terminating RJ45s and jacks. He recently completed our Technical Training class covering theory on Construction safety, ladder safety, wire pulling techniques and basic knowledge of EIA/TIA and NFPA standards. In addition, he received hands on training on crimping RJ45’s, punching down modular jacks, testing CAT5e with a 4-pair tester and wiring up fire alarm devices.

Position: Low Voltage Helper

Location: Humble, TX

Experience: Candidate has 9 months of Electrical and HVAC trade school, and an additional 2 ½ years of general labor experience at a lumber yard.

Skills: Most recently candidate graduated from a 9-month electrical and HVAC trade school program. He has learned the basics of electrical circuitry, OHMS law and ladder safety. He received hands on training with installing and wiring: distributing systems, HVAC units, compressors, capacitors, single- 4-way switches, motors, GFCI outlets, lighting, and breaker box panels. He installed junction boxes, utilized a hand/foot bender to make basic bends on ¼’’ to ¾’’ conduit. Previously he was operating heavy equipment and machinery moving wood stockpiles. Candidate has completed our Entry Level Training Class covering construction safety, BISCI network cabling standards, and basic fire alarm codes. As well, as, hands on training on terminating CAT5e, with RJ45 and keystone jack connectors, wiring fire alarm devices; utilize equipment for testing cabling and devices.

Low Voltage On-Site Project Manager - Houston, TX

Pay Rate: 80k-85k/ Annually

Experience: Candidate has a total of 20 years’ of field experience and is able to supervise the installation of commercial electrical, structured cabling and low-voltage systems.

Projects: NASA Space Center Campus, K-12 schools, Hospitals, Banks, College Campuses, Refineries, Airports, and Senior Living Facilities.

Skills: Candidate has managed a $5 million dollar project that included: electrical conduit, copper, and fiber optic structured cabling installation. His largest project consisted of supervising a team of 25 electricians to run 250k feet of EMT and RIGID conduit on an industrial plant. He can utilize MS Visio; estimate: cabling, network equipment, materials, and labor needed on projects, then outline requisitions of material forms and send submittals. He can survey job sites, coordinate with engineers, clients, and trades. Then plan out logistics on material drop off, line out contractors and technicians on assigned tasks. He can QC installation onsite for corrections, attend safety and construction meetings to keep projects on schedule and submit progress reports to the General Contractor. Candidate can supervise testing and complete final punch down list to ensure the project is in compliance with BICSI standards and contractual requirements to hand off to the client.

Low Voltage Technician – South Dallas, TX

Pay Rate: 21.00

Experience: Almost two years of low voltage experience including structured cabling, and access control.

Projects: Hotels, community centers, office buildings hospitals, data centers.

Skills: Candidate has almost two years of low voltage experience including structured cabling and access control. He can pull and terminate CAT 5 and CAT 6 cables, as well as pull and test fiber optic cable. He can punch down jacks and terminate patch panels as well as workstations and rooms. He has done some work building closets including testing, terminating, and dressing cables as well as rack and stack in a data center. He has also pulled cable for and installed cameras, door strikes, door contacts, and card readers. He can read prints, establish cable paths, and install support structures including j-hooks and cable trays.

Comments: Available for 1st shift and weekend OT hours and is COVID vaccinated.

Structured Cabling Technician – Duncanville, TX

Experience: Candidate has one year of experience in structured cabling and data centers

Projects: QTS Data Center Phoenix, AZ

Skills: Candidate has one year of experience in structured cabling and data centers. He has pulled and terminated CAT 5 and CAT 6 cables, as well as pre-terminated fiber for the IDF. He has also pulled copper for doors and Access Control devices, though he has not installed them. Candidate has done closet build for MDF including rack and stack set ups. He can read blueprints, establish cable pathways, and can install ladder rack support structures. Candidate has also led up to 15 other technicians for cable pulls.
