Experience: Two years of experience as a CNC machinist, two years of experience working at a pipe yard and multiple side projects working on a ranch.  

Projects: Outdoor build out projects on a ranch.  

Skills: Candidate has experience using power saws and drills to build car ports, welding fencing for roping areas and taking care of horses. He has experience operating a CNC machine for conduit coupler manufacturing. He can input machine settings, replace bits, and operate heavy machinery for metal work. He has also worked on a pipe yard loading and unloading steel pipe. He utilized PPE, safety vest and pipe yard safety working procedures. Candidate recently completed our technical training covering construction safety, BISCI cabling standards, color codes and basic fire codes. He had hands on training with terminating CAT5e; he crimped RJ45 connectors, punched down modular jacks and tested connectivity with a 4-pair tester. Projects: New construction 2 to 3 story apartment buildings, model homes, and residential houses, as well as service in occupied houses. 

Skills: Most recently candidate has ran single mode fiber optic cable and coax cable on extension ladders from poles and service taps into MDU buildings and DMARC on side of homes. He uses fish tape to run fiber through underground PVC pipe, EMT conduit and flex pipe across walls. He can perform quick connect terminations, and polish and cleave for mechanical splicing. He then used a light test to check connectivity. Prior experience was running fiber and coax to homes, terminating jacks on wall drops and setting up modems. He also installed Home Life alarm systems, he can wire door contacts, keypads, panels and install wireless glass breaks and motion detectors. He has ran CAT6, terminated RJ45’s and installed IP cameras. Prior experience was over a year and half installing residential A/V home theaters and network systems. Candidate is familiar with installation procedures, color codes, he has organizational skills and is dependable to manage his time, vehicle maintenance, truck stock, inventory, and schedules with clients. Experience: Over 10 years of field experience running access control, and video surveillance installations in commercial projects. Prior experience was 7 years as a Senior instrumentation technician, wiring sensors, relays, and electronics to build and calibrate instrumentation equipment for oil rig drilling tools on pipelines. Early initial field experience was assisting with wire pulling and installing devices for security, fire alarms and intercom systems.

Experience: Five months of experience in commercial structured cabling installation. Prior experience was 4 years as a bench technician performing basic repairs and maintenance on PC’s and apple products.  

Projects: Renovation projects and upgrades in office buildings and schools. 

Skills: Candidate can install all thread on the ceiling, bolt up Unistrut and run basket trays. He used glow rods, ran jet line and pulled CAT5e cables through out support structures. He can crimp RJ45’s and used a Panduit tool to terminate pass through Panduit jacks. He has also swapped out wireless access points and assisted with dressing cables in the closet. His largest project had 400 data drops and prior experience was running diagnostics on PC’s as a bench tech.

Position: Voice Data Technician Level II

Location: Southwest Houston 

Experience: Four years’ experience installing commercial structured cabling and video surveillance cameras. Prior experience was a year of assembling and inspecting industrial grade HVAC systems.  

Projects: Worked in high rise buildings, Memorial Hermann Hospital, college campus’, schools k-12, hotels, remodel on 3-floors in a Bank of America high rise office, new install at Amazon distribution centers. 

Skills: Candidate can read building prints, he worked on a team of 15 technicians and can lead 2-4 helpers on prepping job sites, installing j-hooks, running jet line and prewiring assigned sections of projects. He has worked on backbone infrastructure in high rise buildings and wide large projects at Amazon warehouses, where he operated a scissor lift working in high ceilings to run CAT5e/6, he punched down data drops, installed WAP’s and indoor IP cameras, he utilized a boom lift to install 15 outdoor cameras on the sides of the building. He assisted on building out larger closets with over 750 cables; he bolted down racks, wire management, toned out and dressed cables, punched down patch panels and color coded the connectors to organize between 350 data ports, 400 IP cameras and WAP’s. He has worked on remodel projects; where he ran fiber to another building, mounted data cabinets, ran new lines, and punched down patch panels.
